Good JobThe Thom Abraham Show debuted in Avon, NY, a suburb of Rochester, in spring, 1998, on WYSL 1040-AM. The show was the station’s only locally hosted, long form talk show and rapidly built a loyal following. Thom also served as the color analyst for the Empire Sport Network’s ECAC College Football Game of the Week, and was a regular on the network’s Fan TV program specializing in College Football. He also appeared on NESN in New England as a college football analyst. In spring of 2001, The Thom Abraham Show moved to the Ft. Myers/Naples market on Sportsradio 770 ESPN.

Thom took over a morning time slot that was drawing a listenership of just over 600. In six ratings periods, over 2 years, listenership grew to 1150, 3700, 6800, 8200 and finally over 11,000. Sales at the station doubled during this period. In Spring of 2004, the show moved to Huntsville, AL, on Sportsradio 730 WUMP and to afternoon drive. The Show once again experienced tremendous growth and became a fixture in the Huntsville sports scene. In addition to the daily show, Thom also hosted the Gameday Tailgate Show on location with the Crimson Tide and has served as the Voice of the Tennessee Valley Vipers in the af2, and the Huntsville Havoc SPHL hockey team.

In July of 2007, the show moved to Nashville, TN on ESPN106.7 the FAN. In February, 2009, he moved to Sportsradio 560 WNSR in Nashville and is also heard on 103.9 FM in Central Kentucky. Thom lives in Bon Aqua, Tennessee with his wife Allyn and four of their nine children. In the spring of ‘08 Thom welcomed his first grandchild, Crimson Olivia, thanks to daughter Kristin and her husband, Al who also reside in Bon Aqua. Thom and Allyn have two daughters living in Florida and one in Alabama. Son Joe is a communications major at Middle Tennessee and spent two years at Alabama, where he was a student assistant on Nick Saban’s staff. Thom and Allyn's youngest children (sons Tommy, Danny, and John, and daughter Grace) live at home.

Thom’s background includes 11 years of coaching football at the High School and College level. In high school, Thom earned 4 varsity letters in Football and Wrestling. After passing on an opportunity to play football at Ashland College in Ohio, Thom played one year of Hockey at St. John Fisher College in upstate New York, and spent one season on the school’s golf team.

ABOUT JEFF DIAMOND


Good JobJeff served as team president and COO of the Tennessee Titans from 1999 to 2004. During his tenure with the team, the Titans had an NFL-best 56-24 regular season record, reached the playoffs four times in the five years (winning two division titles) and won the AFC Championship and played in Super Bowl XXXIV in the 1999 season.

Prior to joining the Titans, Jeff spent 23 years with the Vikings in his native Minnesota, first joining the team in the public relations and operations areas and rising over the years to senior vice president of football operations where he was the team's general manager. The Vikings were a playoff team in six of the last seven years of Jeff's tenure (as well as winning the NFC Championship and playing in Super Bowl XI)

In March of 1999, Jeff was named the NFL's Executive of the Year by Sporting News after a vote of his front office peers around the NFL following the Vikings' 15-1 season in 1998.

Jeff currently joins The Thom Abraham during the last hour of each day 2pm to 3pm.

ABOUT CHRIS LADD


Good JobChris Ladd aka "Round Mound of Sound" is the current producer of "The Thom Abraham Show". Chris is a 2000 graduate of Portland High School. He began his radio career in 1999 as a senior in high school working at AM 1270 WQKR in his hometown of Portland, Tennessee. During his time there he did everything from sales, board operator, and doing a scoreboard report after the Portland High School football games. He also spent time doing the morning show.

In 2003, he took a job with Nashville's Supertalk 99.7 WWTN as a producer. His first years at the station were dedicated to producing the weekend programming and helping out during the week where needed. In 2006, he became the syndication producer for the Phil Valentine Show which airs daily on Westwood One on more than 60 radio stations. The Phil Valentine Show over the last few years has become the most listened to talk show in Nashville. During his time with the show Ladd booked top National guests such as Former Vice Presidential Canidates Sarah Palin and Joe Lieberman, Former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich, and other top political figures and celebrities.

Over the last three years Chris has followed the Nashville Predators, Tennessee Titans, and the Vanderbilt Commodores for Metro Networks and ESPN 106.7 the Fan. Ladd also has been a writer for the Portland Progressive, The News Examiner, and On the Ball Magazine.
